Welcome to the March 20th blog post! I am pleased to report that I am on target for my goal of being at or below 330 pounds by the end of March. I have lost one pound since March 15th. I currently weigh 333 pounds.
I keep checking my weight between weigh ins and this may be a mistake. The reason I say this is because it can be depressing. At one point between the last weigh in and now I had actually gained a couple of pounds. I believe that there were a couple of reasons for this.
The first reason is related to my diet. I had pizza on Sunday and then left overs again on Monday. I also had a couple of soda's between now and the previous weigh in. I don't think I am ready to do the vegetarian diet that I had mentioned in a previous blog post. To keep myself accountable though I have decided to start counting calories and I will be posting those daily numbers on the blog. This will begin on March 21st.
The second reason is I have been exercising much more consistently. It always seems to be the case that when I first start to exercise I gain weight right away. I am not sure if this is due to the body holding onto more water or some other reason but it always seems to happen to me. To improve consistency with exercising I will also be logging my calories burned in the daily calorie post mentioned above.
My next weigh in will take place on March 25th. I need to lose another pound to stay on target with my goal of weighing in at or below 330 pounds by the end of March. I am optimistic that with these daily calorie posts I will be able to reach my goal. The exercise has me feeling great as well. I am excited to see where this takes me. Time will tell.
